The Flying Dutchman


  Marinated Pork Meat

 




 3 lb sliced pork meat
 various aromatic herbs
 1 onion (bay leaf, rosemary, sage, oregano, garlic, parsley) very thinly chopped
 1/2 cup olive oil
 1 bottle red dry wine
 salt
 ground black pepper
 

Pour the wine in a bowl with all the herbs and 4 tbsp. of olive oil; stir well.
Then marinate the pork slices into the wine for 8-10 hours, turning them on both sides three or four times.
Prepare a frying pan with very hot olive oil and quickly brown in it the pork slices.
Serve hot with salt at your taste and a generous sprinkle of ground black pepper.
