Peanut sauce for Satay

 

Ingredients:
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 3 Tsp Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tsp Dark Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tbs Soya Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Coriander
  • 1 Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tsp Sereh Powder
  • 1 Tbs Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbs Cooking Oil
  • 1 Tsp Hot Chili Paste
  • Coconut Milk or Water
Preparation:

Finely dice the small onion.

Put the oil in a SMALL saucepan and soften the onions, add all other ingredients except coconut milk/water.

Slowly heat on a low flame, adding liquid as required to make it into a smooth sauce.

While adding the liquid, stirr very well.
