Pineapple rice


 


 Ingredients:

 

This is a delicious rice dish which can be used with a fish dish.

1/4 kg Rice rinsed and dry
3 med Onions, chopped
1 tbsp  Ginger garlic paste
3 med  Tomatoes, chopped
2 Capsicum, chopped
1/2 bunch Coriander, chopped
2 Spring onions, chopped
1/2 tsp Saffron, soaked in water
1 tin Pineapple slices, cubed
2 tbsps Spice powder
 
(caradamom, clove, cinnamon, shahjeera, nutmeg, mace)

 Method:

 

Clean and  rinse the rice.
Fry the chopped onions and vegetables for a while.
Add de rice, water, salt and spice powder, cook till rice is done.
Add cut pineapple and some of the juice.
Serve it hot.
